During term 2 the school councillors and Miss Espinasse held open auditions for students at Pakuranga Intermediate to audition for the school Talent Quest. The students were really keen and we had many entries with some exceptional talent discovered.
The councillors and Miss Espinasse spent the last two weeks of the term auditioning the vast talent from our school. There were three categories the students could audition for: Singing, Dance and Instrumental, with each either a solo or group performance.
Many students plucked up the courage to face not only the judges but other auditionees in their category. We were overwhelmed with the quality of the performances, the well thought out costumes, choreographies, the choice of the items; n ot to mention the hidden TALENT!!!
The councillors and Miss Espinasse had a long debate and made some cut throat decisions but were happy in the end to announce these people as your FINALIS

The Talent Quest Finals will be held Wednesday night (week 6) in our school hall. the night will be a fantastic show with a ray of talent from our school (including a special teacher’s performance for your entertainment).
We hope everyone will come along and support the students and the wonderful Talent that our school has to offer. It will be a fun night in which we can celebrate talent and encourage our children/students to follow their dreams…who knows we may just have the next NZ Superstar.
There will be a WINNER announced that evening with prizes and runner up awards also.
