Technology

2016 Technology classes are Food, Hard Materials and Visual Arts. The students attend a technology class for 14 weeks, twice a week for 80   minutes each.

The Food Technology programme supports students’ learning in key areas of safety, basic skills and hygiene. These are linked to breakfasts, lunches and simple meals, with the emphasis on basic nutrition.

Visual Arts learning challenges students to plan and create their own designs inspired by home-grown and international works of art. A variety of learning experiences enable all students to succeed regardless of previous achievements.

The Materials Technology programme is all about learning to design and create a product, using appropriate skills and safe working practices. Learning is fun, engaging and rewarding.
