ACE Performance
18 Nov 2024

Dear Parents/Whānau

A reminder that all classes are participating in our annual Arts and Cultural Evening and you are invited to watch their performance on Wednesday 27th November, 6pm.

All students are expected to perform on the evening. Students will not be permitted to attend as audience members.

This is an opportunity for us to celebrate the diverse cultures in our school as well as the dance and performance talents of our students. Every class has prepared their own piece to perform, with a variety of different cultures represented. Many of these pieces have been led by the students themselves.

We are looking forward to once again welcoming our community into the school. We will have a koha box available in the foyer to help cover the costs of uniforms and accessories.

·      Non-classroom performers (Kapa Haka, Pasifika, Philippine, Kpop) students to arrive by 5pm.

·      Class performers to arrive by 5:30pm (check with your teacher for exact time).

·      All students to go to their class for costumes/preparation. You must stay with your class.

·      Whānau/visitors are welcome to wait in the hall if you arrive early.

·      The quad area is only open to students and staff, please do not follow your child to their classroom.

Athletics Day Reminder

Tomorrow is our School Athletics Day.

All students must come if full PE gear with a water bottle, hat and sunscreen. As we will be outside for most of the day it is important to remember that students can get sunburnt at this time of year, even on a cloudy day.

Please come prepared for the athletics day no matter what the weather looks like as we may be able to go out for part of the day.
