Pakuranga Intermediate has a large, colourful and inviting Library. The Library is open during break times and most classes also have a set time once a week where they visit the Library with their teacher for research or reading.
The Library offers students a huge range of books, we currently have over 3,500 books (including Fiction, Non-Fiction, Picture Books, Graphic Novels and International Books) available to borrow. New books are added regularly to keep the collection up to date.

During the year we run various activities like the popular Hell’s Pizza ‘Pizza Wheel’ reading competition, quizzes and arts and crafts.
Student Librarians are elected at the start of each year from both years 7 & 8 and work closely with the Librarian to ensure the Library is a welcoming place for our students.
