All of our classes have now completed their trips to visit the sites of the historical battles they have been learning about in their inquiry lessons.
The students have represented our school with pride and we are grateful to the parents and whānau who have joined us to help with supervision on these trips. A special thanks to Tom Brownlee from the Preservation Society at Pukekohe East Church who was able to share his extensive knowledge of the events and the area.
The ability to visit these sites helps the learning come alive for our students and can help with their understanding of complex events.
